Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
To kick off this week’s segment, we got started with a conversation about Leon Draisaitl and whether he’s one of the top three players in the NHL. Generally, I don’t really care about these kinds of rankings or lists, but when it comes to Draisaitl, I truly believe that he’s not appreciated nearly enough by anyone outside of this market. What else does this guy have to do to cement himself as one of the league’s best? From there we looked at Dylan Holloway‘s incredible pre-season that he’s having and whether or not I think he’s done enough to crack the lineup. I mean, after pumping a hat trick home against the Canucks on Wednesday night and finding ways to stand out even when he’s not scoring, I don’t see how Jay Woodcroft could possibly keep him out. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s segment with a plea not to sleep on our #NationVacation to Vegas if you’re wanting to come. At this point, we only have a few spots left, and delaying any longer could mean you miss out on the action.
