Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
To kick off this week’s segment, we got started with a conversation about the Oilers roster and specifically which player needs to have the best season of their career so far. Yesterday, my boy Woz took your answers to this question and put them on the site, and I was a little bit surprised to see how different the opinions were. Two guys that stood out, however, were Darnell Nurse and Jack Campbell, but is that necessarily fair? From there, we looked at Leon Draisaitl’s interview on 32 Thoughts and how it was incredible to hear his side of the story when it came to the injury he was battling in the playoffs. We all knew the guy had a high ankle sprain but I don’t think any of us really knew how much pain he was in. The good news, though, is that Leon seemed to figure out how to dominate on only one leg, and that has me feeling excited to see what he’ll be able to do with two now that he’s seemingly healthy again. Watch out, NHL.
