Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: Oilers looking to keep the offence rolling but tighten up defensively

It’s game day and the boys at The Locker Room wanted to bring me in for yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. For as long as this playoff run lasts, I’ll be jumping on the air with the boys for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
To kick off today’s segment, we jumped in with a look back at Game 1 and specifically the Cale Makar goal that absolutely looked offside but through the league’s mental gymnastics regarding what’s considered a dump in was ultimately counted as a good one. Yet, as annoying as that sequence was for the Oilers, I didn’t think that was the reason they lost. From my side of the TV screen, I thought the Oilers were too sloppy in their own end and in the neutral zone, and that inattention to detail ultimately proved costly. That said, I also think there are plenty of positives to take away from Tuesday night as well as the boys were able to tag the Avs with six goals, and with Kuemper potentially out for the rematch, that could be a small advantage that they need to even up the series.
