Kicking things off, I got started with a look at another brutal week for Oilers fans as the team continues to struggle regardless of who they&#8217;re playing again, and I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;m talking out of school when I say that Saturday&#8217;s loss to the Ottawa Senators is one of the most painful games we&#8217;ve had to endure. I also dove into yesterday&#8217;s <a href="https://publish.oilersnation.com/2022/01/18/leon-draisaitl-and-jim-matheson-had-an-awkward-exchange-after-oilers-practice-on-tuesday-2/">pissy scandal</a> after Jim Matheson asked Leon Draisaitl why he&#8217;s so pissy when the former Hart Trophy winner chose not to elaborate on one of Jim&#8217;s questions. From there I welcomed Jason Gregor to the show to talk about how what it&#8217;s like to participate in these media availabilities, what he considers a hard question, and where the Oilers need to go from here. As always, Gregor was a wealth of knowledge and it was fun to throw things at him and have him offer his takes on what the hell is going on around here. Lastly, I wrapped up today&#8217;s podcast with another round of voicemails that you&#8217;ve all been leaving me over the last week or so, and to put it mildly, they were endlessly entertaining.
