The Edmonton Oilers American Hockey League affiliate has announced updates to their coaching staff.
The Bakersfield Condors will see head coach Colin Chaulk and assistant Keith McCambridge return for their third seasons. Video coordinator Kris Horn is set to return, as well.
A pair of coaches have mutually agreed to part ways with the organization in assistant coach Nate DiCasmirro, who joined the Condors last year, and goaltending coach Sylvain Rodrigue.

Rodrigueâs departure is significant as heâs been one of the longest-tenured coaches in the organization. He joined the Oilers in 2014-15 as a goaltending consultant, becoming the goaltending coach a year later. He held the role solely in Edmonton before taking on the Condors job, too, in 2018-19. Between that year and 2021-22, he worked with both clubs before transitioning to the AHL fully in 2022-23.
He helped bring up Stuart Skinner through the organization, who has shone as one of the NHLâs best young goaltenders and the Oilersâ No. 1 option in the crease.
Under Chaulk, the Condors have gone 95-70-13, earning post-season berths in all three seasons.
âIn addition to the successful on-ice record, Chaulkâs tutelage has played a key role in 10 Condors alumni playing for the Edmonton Oilers during their run to the 2024 Stanley Cup Final,â the team said in a statement, referring to Dylan Hollowayâs emergence, as well as that of James Hamblin and Raphael Lavoie, who both player their first NHL games this season.
When it comes to McCambridge, who works with the Condorsâ defence and their penalty kill, the team highlighted his work with Phillip Broberg.
âHis work prepared 2019 first-round pick Philip Broberg for the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs, as the Swede appeared in 10 games with two goals and a team-best +8,â the Condors said, adding âMcCambridge also played a key role in Phil Kemp making his NHL debut this past season, and Vincent Desharnaisâ graduating full-time with the Oilers in 2022-23.â
