Bear placed on IR. Is retroactive to last Sunday so he can come off Monday and play. Khaira activated from TS. I expect he will play. Haas didn’t skate yesterday, and Tippett said they were being cautious. Could see both in with Khaira on wing or him in for Haas. #Oilers

The Edmonton Oilers have placed Ethan Bear on the injured reserve.
The defenceman last played on Jan. 30th where he was struck in the head with a puck while sitting on the bench. No word yet on the extent of his injury.
The fact he was placed on IR, however, means he will miss tonight’s game against the Flames, but could return Monday against the Ottawa Senators.
Edmonton also brought Jujhar Khaira and Stuart Skinner up from the taxi squad and will dress tonight against the Flames. Earlier today, the LA Kings claimed goaltender Troy Grosenick on waivers.
