The Edmonton Oilers have placed forward Kyle Turris on waivers.
The 32-year-old has appeared in 21 games for the Oilers this season scoring one goal and four points. Signed to a two-year deal ahead of the 2020-21 season, his time in Edmonton has been nothing short of disappointing.
In 48 games, he’s scored three goals, nine points and has posted a -16 rating.
He’s been in and out of the Oilers lineup this year struggling to gain a foothold.
The Oilers also placed Tim Soderlund on unconditional waivers for the purpose of termination. If you’re asking yourself, “who?” then don’t worry.
He was acquired by the Oilers in the Duncan Keith deal last summer and has split time between the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors and ECHL’s Wichita Thunder.
