The Edmonton Oilers have placed forward Tyler Ennis on waivers.
Ennis, 31, has appeared in 27 games with the team this year scoring three goals and nine points. He had found a regular spot in the OIlers lineup over the last month and hadn’t looked out of place doing so.
In 12 games in March, Ennis scored one goal and three points. With him on the ice at 5×5, the Oilers scored four goals allowing just two.
The Oilers acquired Ennis from the Ottawa Senators at the 2020 trade deadline for Edmonton’s fifth round pick in the 2021 draft. Ennis was waived in late January, but cleared.
