Carter Savoie is up for one of hockey’s most prestigious awards.
The fourth-round pick in the 2020 draft, Savoie has been named a finalist for the NCAA’s Hobey Baker award.
The 19-year-old has been on a tear this season scoring 12 goals and 22 points in just 16 games. He’s led the team in both goals and points for the majority of the year, while his goals per game mark have him third in the nation.
His 22 points? The most among all NCAA players who have played 16 games or less.
Two of his teammates have been named finalists, too, in Cole Guttman and Bobby Brink. In total, 77 players are up for the award.
Fans can cast their vote for Hobey Baker finalists here.
