<p>When I started putting a few nickels down on Oilers games, I knew there would be times when I&#8217;d get hot and times when I&#8217;d be cold. Outside of <a href="https://publish.oilersnation.com/2023/10/17/gdb-3-0-wrap-up-oilers-pick-up-first-win-of-the-season-with-6-1-pounding-of-preds/">Tuesday&#8217;s win against Nashville</a>, the boys haven&#8217;t been able to generate offence with any kind of consistency, and it&#8217;s a problem that needs to change immediately. And with the way the Jets cannot keep the puck out of their own net, is tonight&#8217;s matchup just what the doctor ordered? Maybe. It could be. That said, when two teams are struggling the way the Oilers and Jets are right now, it&#8217;s nearly impossible to predict how things will go accurately. So, when it comes to my game day bets for the night, I&#8217;ll be taking a much more cautious approach than I have been over the first few teams. Instead of entirely betting with my heart, I&#8217;m taking a step back and only dipping a toe in the water for once. Do you think it will pay off? Dare to dream.</p>
