<p>After dropping three consecutive games for their first losing streak of the year 2024, the Oilers bounced back with a 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Kings. Four different players found the back of the net for Edmonton while Stuart Skinner stopped 38 of 40 shots in the win.</p>

<p>The Kings opened the scoring a few minutes into the first period. Defenceman Andreas Englund took a shot from the point that bounced behind the net and Quinton Byfield directed it out front to Trevor Moore, who buried the puck past Skinner.</p>

<p>The Oilers got on the board right before the end of the first period. The Kings were slowly breaking the puck out of their own zone and Connor McDavid stole it and fed Zach Hyman with a cross-zone pass for a one-timer.</p>

<p>The Kings regained the lead in the second period with goal from Alex Laferriere. Evan Bouchard got deked out on a pinch at Edmonton&#8217;s blueline and Anze Kopitar was able to spring Laferriere for a wide-open chance in the slot.</p>
