More details emerge on Edmonton’s hub city bid

As reported yesterday, it’s all but confirmed that the City of Edmonton will be hosting hockey games as part of the NHL’s return-to-play.
Today, TSN’s Ryan Rishaug tweeted some more details in regards to what Edmonton’s bid entails and how the league, city and province are working to cross the t’s and dot the i’.
Additionally, can report that the 6 required ice surfaces will be Rogers Place, the Downtown Community Arena, and the 4 surfaces at the Terwillegar Rec Centre (which will require bussing)
According to Rishaug, none of those final pieces appear to be potential snags like the ones that held Vancouver from becoming a hub city which is incredibly important to Edmonton’s ability to host games.
In Edmonton, there will be six ice surfaces that will be used: Rogers Place, the Downtown Community Arena, and the Terwillegar Rec Centre’s four ice surfaces.
As of right now, it hasn’t been reported where games specifically would be played. Could we see NHL action play at the Terwillegar Rec Centre? That would be kind of cool.
