The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our first bet of the day will be taking Brandon Hagel to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -143.
Hagel comes into the Tampa Bay Lightning’s matchup with the Anaheim Ducks having taken 18 shots on goal in his last five games, four more than his closest teammate over that time. He’s hit the over on this prop in four of his last five games, and has a great matchup to do it again tonight.
The Ducks continue to have a historically bad season in terms of their shot suppression and in their last five games, have allowed a staggeringly terrible 47.33 shots against per hour.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Tuevo Teravainen to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -110.
Teravainen leads all Hurricanes in shots on goal over their last five games with 19. He’s hit the over on this prop in all five games, to boot. He has a great matchup against the St. Louis Blues tonight, a team giving up 33.29 shots against per hour, the 9th worst rate over the last nine games.
