The Edmonton Oilers returned from their brief Christmas break with a huge 2-1 win over provincial rivals the Calgary Flames. Stuart Skinner was outstanding for the Oilers stopping 46 of 47 shots for his 11th win of the season, and second against Calgary.

Tonight, the Oilers look for back-to-back wins against a Pacific Division rival, when they take on the Seattle Kraken. Edmonton and Seattle are yet to face one another this season so tonight will be the first of four meetings between the two.
