Boy oh boy, did the Edmonton Oilers ever need that win last night versus the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 3-2 over the Eastern Conference Champions ended a three-game losing streak for Edmonton and put them back two games over .500. However, it was not just about the two points for Edmonton, the overall performance was positive in many ways with players like Warren Foegele getting the monkey off his back and the special teams showing up.
Unfortunately, it was not all positive as Evander Kane left the game with a devastating injury. After making contact with Patrick Maroon’s skate, Kane rushed to the bench with a forearm injury that could leave him out of the lineup for a while. Our thoughts are with Kane and wish him a speedy recovery.
Joining the show for his weekly appearance is Frank Seravalli from dailyfaceoff.com. He will give us an update on what is going on around the NHL and the Edmonton Oilers. You can watch all of that and more on Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk.
Viewers can catch Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin on Oilersnation Everyday at noon mountain on The Nation Network YouTube page. You can also view the show on Twitter and Facebook. After the show has streamed live, you can find it on all your podcast providers.
