It was a game of mistakes by the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday which caused them to lose 4-3 to the Anaheim Ducks, a bottom dweller in the NHL. That is now two games in a row that the Oilers have shot themselves in the foot costing themselves two points.

Tonight, the Oilers have to put those mistakes behind them when they face the Nashville Predators. The game is back in Nashville and, as we all know, Leon Draisaitl owns the city of Nashville.

Later in the show, Tyler Yaremchuk will be joined by Reid Schaefer, the Oilers first-round pick from the 2022 NHL Draft. Schaefer is currently at Team Canada’s camp ahead of the World Juniors in Halifax. Tyler spoke to him about being drafted by his hometown team, how his career has taken off and what he thinks about the nickname, “Ginger Beef.”
