Last night, Leon Draisaitl was re-elected as the Mayor of Smashville after he put together his second five-point game versus the Nashville Predators of the season. The Oilers forward now had 35 points (22 goals, 13 assists) against the Predators in only 21 career games, which is incredible. Draisaitl was not the only player to put up big numbers last night with Zach Hyman scoring his first career hat trick and Connor McDavid grabbing four points for himself.

It was not an ideal start between the pipes for Jack Campbell, who allowed the first shot of the game to beat him. However, the Oilers netminder bounced back nicely, making some big saves to finish with a .906 save percentage and his 8th win of the season.
