Welcome to another exciting episode of Oilersnation Everyday.
The Oilers had a busy Sunday and they prepare to make a decision on the Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg offer sheets from the St Louis Blues.
The first trade came earlier in the day when they acquired Vasily Podkolzin from the Vancouver Canucks for a late round pick. The conversation immediate sparked to him being the replacement for Holloway, but will that be the case? David Quadrelli from Canucks Army joins the show to discuss what Podkolzin’s time with the Canucks and how he can impact the Oilers lineup.
That wasn’t it though for the Oilers. Later in the day, Cody Ceci was traded to the San Jose Sharks, along with a third round pick, for defenceman Ty Emberson. The move freed up a ton of cap space for the Oilers, which now makes the next day intriguing in regards to the future of Holloway and Broberg.
Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin go live at noon to discuss everything that happened yesterday. What did you think of the moves? The guys want to hear from you so leave your questions, comments and concerns in the Greta Bar YEG YouTube live chat throughout the show. Interact with Tyler and Liam as well as your fellow Nation Citizens in the chat.
