The Edmonton Oilers continue their Pacific Division road trip tonight when they visit Anaheim to face the Ducks. Tonight will be the second meeting between the two Western Conference teams with Anaheim getting the better of Edmonton in their first matchup. Lukas Dostal was the big reason why the Ducks came away with a 4-3 victory after making 46 saves. The Oilers won’t have to worry about him tonight since he is back in the AHL with the San Diego Gulls.
Instead, Edmonton will be facing a team that has allowed 11 goals in its last two games and has won three games in its last ten outings. However, those stats are irrelevant if the Oilers do not show up to play.
