Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Edmonton Oilers @ Colorado Avalanche

Nov 27, 2019, 16:00 ESTUpdated: Nov 27, 2019, 15:04 EST
The Oilers conclude their five-game road trip tonight as they head to Colorado to take on the Avalanche. After a flat performance in Los Angeles, the Oilers rebounded with back-to-back wins over the Vegas Golden Knights and the Arizona Coyotes. Those two wins were enough to keep them on top of the Pacific Division and tonight, they’ll look to widen the gap between themselves and the rest of the division as they face an Avalanche team that has dropped back-to-back games.
The Oilers already beat the Avs once this month. It was a 6-2 stomping back on the 14th that saw @Connor McDavid post six points. That night the Oilers torched Colorado’s third-string goaltender and they beat up on an Avalanche team that had a long list of players on their injured list. They are still without a handful of key players, but they will have starting goaltender @Phillip Grubauer back between the pipes, which is a massive boost.
I take you through all the numbers and notes you need to get ready for tonight’s game in the Pre Game Podcast (pres. by YEG Burger)! You can download it directly to your device right here in the article or by heading to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Google Play!
