Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Edmonton Oilers @ Florida Panthers

Feb 15, 2020, 13:00 ESTUpdated: Feb 15, 2020, 14:44 EST
After dropping the first game of their road trip, the Oilers will look to get back in the win column this afternoon as they head to Florida to face the Panthers. The Oilers are currently without their entire top line as @Connor McDavid, @James Neal, and @Zack Kassian are all out of the lineup but they’ll go up against a Panthers team that has really struggled to keep pucks out of their net as of late, giving up at least four goals in three of their last five games. They also have just two wins in their last seven games and currently sit five points out of a playoff despite having the exact same record as the Oilers.
A few things that Oilers fans should have Oilers fans feeling optimistic about this game: the team has been very good against the Eastern Conference and very good on Saturdays. Edmonton is 9-3-1 on Saturdays so far this season. Fans will also get another look at Tyler Benson, who is expected to draw into the lineup for his third career NHL game.
I go through the numbers and lineups ahead of this afternoons game on the Pre Game Pod (pres. by YEG Burger)! You can download it here in the article or by heading to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Google Play!
