Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Edmonton Oilers @ San Jose Sharks

Nov 12, 2019, 17:00 ESTUpdated: Nov 12, 2019, 15:26 EST
Looking to win their third consecutive game, the Oilers head to San Jose tonight to finish their two-game road trip. The Sharks struggled out of the gate this season but recently have picked up their play. They’re currently on a three-game winning streak. For the @Edmonton Oilers, they’re coming off a pair of impressive victories over the Ducks and Devils.
Goaltending is looking good, the special teams are firing on all cylinders, the big guns are scoring, and the depth is improving. The Oilers are first in their division and still trending upwards in my opinion. Tonight presents a tough task though. They’ll be facing a @San Jose Sharks team that has had their number as of late. In the last two seasons, the Sharks have won seven of their nine meetings and outscored the Oilers 25-14 in their five meetings last year.
It’s always been tough for the Oilers to win in San Jose but this Sharks team is not as dominant as they once were. I think this is going to be a very close game tonight.
Lineup notes, the numbers behind the matchups, and your bet of the game are all inside today’s Pre Game Podcast (presented by YEG Burger). You can download it directly here in the article or by heading to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Google Play!
