Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Game 5 at Toronto

Jan 20, 2021, 15:30 ESTUpdated: Jan 20, 2021, 15:38 EST
For the first time in 321 days, the Oilers hit the road and will play a game outside of Rogers Place. This trip comes at a good time as the team is looking for a bit of a spark as they will try to end their two-game losing streak tonight when they open up a two-game set against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
History is certainly on the Maple Leaf’s side in this matchup. In the last three seasons, they have a record of 5-1-0 against the Edmonton Oilers. @Connor McDavid and company will certainly be looking to buck that trend tonight. While Edmonton is coming off a pair of disappointing losses, the Leafs are coming off an impressive win over the Winnipeg Jets that brought their record up to 3-1-0 on the season.
I go through some lineup changes, compare some numbers for these two teams, and give my betting preview on today’s Pre Game Podcast (brought to you by YEG Burger & Nation Beer).
