Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Game 8 at Winnipeg

Jan 26, 2021, 15:15 ESTUpdated: Jan 26, 2021, 14:52 EST
The Oilers will wrap up their four-game road trip tonight with their second straight game against the Winnipeg Jets. Edmonton won the first meeting of the year between these two teams on Sunday night thanks to a buzzer-beater from @Leon Draisaitl and tonight, they’ll look to win their second game in a row for the first time this season.
This game should be much tougher to win for the Oilers considering the Jets aren’t playing in back-to-backs like they were on Sunday and they’ll also have their number one goalie Connor Hellebucyk between the pipes. Still, there are plenty of reasons for Oilers fans to be optimistic heading into this one.
I talked about why fans should be optimistic about the Oilers’ chances of getting a win tonight and also went through some line-up notes ahead of tonight’s matchup between these two Canadian clubs.
