It’s Tuesday afternoon, and there’s a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio set, which means the boys were back in the studio to recap the week that was. On today’s episode, the guys discussed their first impressions of Edmonton’s new friends, the latest Oilers goalie drama, previewed Tuesday’s matchup against the Avalanche, and much more.
We kicked off the Tuesday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about how the Oilers can survive the remainder of their regular season schedule without Leon Draisaitl. The Oilers announced this morning that the star forward would miss the remainder of the regular season with a lower-body injury. No word on what will happen for the playoffs, but this was obviously not the news Oilers fans wanted to hear this morning.
Changing gears, the guys discussed Connor Ingram being named the Oilers’ starting goaltender and how surprising it was that Kris Knoblauch admitted what we were all thinking. Either way, what’s clear is that the team and coaching staff believe Ingram gives the chance the best chance to win right now, and it’s going to take a lot of work for Jarry to rebuild that trust. Will it be the right decision? Only time will tell.
Finally, we wrapped up the episode of ONR with another round of Tenable, followed by Baggedmilk’s Trivia. With Liam’s game uniting the fellas for one common goal, the guys wrapped up the show with another round of Sharks-related Baggedmilk Trivia questions. Think you know your Oilers vs. Sharks history? This round of trivia was for you. Did the quizmaster have to step in? Did Baggedmilk get his questions right? You’ll have to listen to find out for sure.
