The Edmonton Oilers are hosting the Arizona Coyotes on Wednesday and the game is officially listed for 8:30 PM local time. But according to The Athletic&#8217;s Daniel Nugent-Bowman, the puck isn&#8217;t scheduled to be dropped until nearly 9:00 PM&#8230;

Games generally don&#8217;t start much later than 8:00 PM local time but tonight&#8217;s Oilers and Coyotes night&#8217;s game in Edmonton is being pushed back in order to help accommodate Wednesday Night Hockey on TNT in the United States.
TNT has two games scheduled for this week&#8217;s Wednesday Night Hockey, with the Colorado Avalanche hosting the Pittsburgh Penguins as the first one on the docket. Since Colorado is also in the mountain time zone, they&#8217;ve been moved up to a 6:00 PM local start time in order to make space for the later game in Edmonton.
This is the fifth of six games that the Oilers will play on TNT&#8217;s Wednesday Night Hockey program. They&#8217;re scheduled to play the Ducks in Anaheim as the second Wednesday game two weeks from now at 8:00 PM mountain time.
Their only other remaining 8:30 PM mountain time start is scheduled for Tuesday, April 4 when the Oilers are in Los Angeles to face the Kings.
