Another Thursday is upon us and that means a brand new episode of the Real Life Podcast is here and ready to get you set for the weekend. On today’s show, the guys looked at betting on the first round, Connor McDavid’s brilliance, and welcomed Scott Hastings from OddsShark to break down the latest NHL news and what’s going on in the world of sports gambling.
Kicking off this week’s podcast, the guys got started with a longwinded conversation about Stanley Cup betting and where everyone is putting their money as the Oilers get set for their first-round series against the Winnipeg Jets. Are we betting on RNH to get over 3.5 points? Tyson Barrie over four points? Stick with the Oilers, the boys spent a few minutes talking about McDavid’s brilliance over the last month or so and how he seems absolutely unstoppable at this point. Sticking with the playoffs, the guys looked at what is sure to be a wild year in the NHL playoffs as some Canadian teams will have to make their way south for the later rounds. Needless to say, the boys were very excited about the start of this playoff push and everyone cannot wait for the show to get on the road. Finally, the guys wrapped up today’s podcast by welcoming Scott Hastings from OddsShark to help break down the latest betting trends from the NHL, recap the week that was, and offer up details on the latest news from the world of sports.
