Real Life Podcast: No Oilers games means a whole lot of room for shenanigans

Feb 2, 2023, 18:30 ESTUpdated: Feb 2, 2023, 17:01 EST
Another Thursday has landed on the calendar, which means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a whole lot to talk about to wrap up the week. On today’s show, the guys recapped the Evander Kane interview, the Jasper pond hockey tournament, and more.
Kicking off the second episode of Real Life of the day, the podcast got started with a whole bunch of nonsense as there are no Oilers games to talk about, which left the door open for shenanigans. With Tyler in Florida for the All-Star Game, Liam stepped in to man the ship but whether or not he had any control is up for debate. With that in mind, the first 10 minutes of the show were spent talking about Liam’s love of cheesecake. They also spent time talking about a bunch of random sports stories after reports surfaced that Lionel Messi was reportedly offered hundreds of millions of dollars to play in Saudi Arabia just like Ronaldo. From there, the podcast really started to get weird as the guys were all over the map. From flight hacks to Wanye’s adventures in Edmonton to the old Dope Wars video game, there were no limits to the oddness that was the back half of this conversation. Things didn’t get much better from there, however, as the guys couldn’t seem to stay on track on with any topic for more than 10-15 seconds at a time.
