Real Life Podcast: Nothing says ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ like screaming at each other

Nov 24, 2022, 18:00 ESTUpdated: Nov 24, 2022, 20:40 EST
It’s Thanksgiving south of the border, there’s football on, and the Oilers lost again, which means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a whole lot to talk about. On today’s show, the guys looked at the American Thanksgiving sports influx, setting fantasy lineups, and a whole more.
Kicking off today’s podcast, the guys got started with a conversation about American Thanksgiving and how it has become a massive day for sports fans. Seeing as there are so many football games on and the World Cup is underway, Baggedmilk wondered why there are no NHL games whatsoever. With the football talk out of the way, the conversation turned back to the Edmonton Oilers and how last night’s loss to the New York Islanders was one of the most frustrating nights of the year. Seeing as this team was supposed to have Stanley Cup aspirations, the Oilers don’t look like a team that’s anywhere close to where they should be. Looking ahead at Saturday’s game against the Rangers, Tyler asked who the guys would start in net and instead of answering the question, a screaming match broke out about when it’s acceptable to have goaltenders confirmed. Once everybody called down, the guys wrapped up the Thursday episode of Real Life with a look ahead at the Brunch for Ben party that’s happening on Saturday at SOHO an how grateful everyone is that the even sold out.
