There’s no way your Thursday wouldn’t be complete without a fresh episode of the Real Life podcast to wrap up your week, would it? Of course not. Thankfully, the gang was back with a fresh episode of Real Life that was all over the map and covered a wide range of topics.
The guys kicked off the podcast with a random question about how many Teen Burgers they could eat in support of Burgers for MS Day on August 22nd for our friends at A&W. As you’ll hear, the boys believe they can put back a pile of burgers in the name of charity, even though the lofty estimates seem ridiculous at first blush.
Changing gears, Wanye wanted to talk about a new YouTube channel he found with an Aussie guy who has built a homestead for himself using nothing but primitive tools. That led to discussions about influencers of all types getting famous for the most random content you could ever imagine. Whether that content is any good is a different matter entirely.
From there, Wanye wanted to discuss the advances in Neuralink technology and how it won’t be long before people can get rid of phones and live online within the confines of their own minds. If the tech advances enough, would having a chip in their brain be of any interest to the boys on the show if given the chance?
Finally, the boys wrapped up the Thursday episode of Real Life with a recap of the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, which is why Steven Ellis is in town. Despite forcing Steven to sit through an hour of shenanigans, hearing his take on the state of hockey was a fun dive into the mind of The Nation Network’s prospect analyst.
