Risky Business is brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
After tying things up at 1-1 on Wednesday night, the series now turns to Los Angeles where the Oilers will do what they can to put up at least one win behind enemy lines to regain home-ice advantage. Most importantly, the boys will be looking to build upon what was a solid — definitely not perfect, as we all know — showing in Game 2 that saw the Oilers dominate most of the game outside of the five minutes of costly errors. If they can keep up the same level of hustle while also tightening up some of the finer details, I see no reason why we shouldn’t be talking about another win. I mean, let’s be honest, the Oilers have outplayed the Kings for five of six periods they’ve played in this series and the only reason we’re even talking about it being tied is that our side keeps finding new and interesting ways to shoot themselves in the foot. Seeing as I’ll be in the building for Game 3, I’m going to need the boys to make sure they’re dialed in to not only win me my bets but also to prevent the three of us from getting screamed at by Kings fans all night.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Kings.
Player Prop:
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins over 2.5 shots at +115. My $5 bet would return $10.75.
Easy Money:
Connor McDavid over 3.6 shots at -167. My $5 bet would return $8.00.
Risky Business:
Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both to score at +240. My $5 bet would return $17.00.
Can’t Miss Parlay:
Edmonton to win on the money line and Boston to win on the money line at 2.69. My $5 bet would return $13.46.

Last Game
As stressful as Wednesday was because of the two quick goals the Kings scored at the end of the second period, the elation we all felt when Klim Kostin snapped home the winner was everything our hearts and fandoms needed in that moment.
- Connor McDavid over 3.5 shots at -167.
Over 64.5 total shots at +100.Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both to score at +350.Edmonton to beat LA on the money line and Boston to beat Florida on the money line at 2.17.
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Kings.
