The last time the Oilers and Kraken faced off, the boys struggled mightily to put in a 60-minute effort and that simply cannot happen again. Coming into tonight’s matchup, the Seattle Kraken just lost their first game after an eight-game winning streak and that makes this head-to-head incredibly important for the Oilers. This is a team we’re chasing in the standings and when you have the opportunity for a four-point swing, the boys need to find a way to take advantage of the chance. As for what that means for my betting plays, I’m going to be a touch conservative on the night even though I’m hopeful that the Oilers will be able to keep the good times rolling.

If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Kraken:

Zach Hyman over 3.5 shots at +110. My $5 bet would return $10.50.

Over 1.5 total power play goals at -110. My $5 bet would return $9.54.

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl both to score at +250. My $5 bet would return $17.50

Winnipeg over Montreal on the money line, Buffalo over Chicago on the money line, and Detroit over Arizona on the money line at 3.79. My $5 bet would return $18.98.
