It’s once again time to put your teacher’s hat on and start thinking about which Oilers had a great week, and who played like the second coming of Nikitin. I know that I’ll be putting a smiling sunshine sticker on a certain 18 year old’s report card – I think he would appreciate it. Ladies and gentlemen, it’s report card time.
It has been a tough week for Oilers fans so it will be interesting to see how Connor McDavid’s injury affects the voting in the report card. Taylor Hall was on fire this week despite what the haters say, and Leon Draisaitl has been burning up the NHL like a house on fire – who will reign supreme? We shall see.
Jordan Eberle makes his return to the lineup for tonight’s game and will try to fill some of the offensive void left by Connor McDavid’s injury, but it goes without saying that nothing can replace our beloved ConCon. We’ll see how Eberle does in next week’s report card. Until then, it’s time heap praise on our favourites and ridicule on our goats.
Let the voting begin!
