The Sherwood Ford Giant Pre Game Show – Game 43 vs Chicago Blackhawks

Feb 9, 2022, 15:00 ESTUpdated: Feb 9, 2022, 15:18 EST
After a pretty rough loss to the Golden Knights last night, the Oilers are right back in action tonight. The good news for the Oilers is that they’re getting a pretty good matchup in this one as they welcome the Chicago Blackhawks to Rogers Place. Just like yesterday, I handled the Sherwood Ford Giant Pre Game Show on my own, so join me for a 15-minute chat on the frustrating game last night and also what the Oilers need to do in order to bounce back tonight against the Hawks.
As I outlined in the show, Chicago has been a mess both on and off the ice this season, so it would be nice to see the Oilers just absolutely hammer them tonight. They lost three straight heading into the All-Star break and have just one win in their last eight games. The lone bright spot for them for most of the season has been Marc-Andre Fleury and even he has slipped a little bit with 18 goals against in his last five starts. He’s also been in net for all three games of their losing streak. The Oilers will likely be going with @Stuart Skinner tonight who has three wins in his last four starts.
