Things are not going well for the Edmonton Oilers right now. They just went through a week that saw them play three of the worst teams in the NHL and they only managed to walk away from it with three points. What made it even worse is that most of the teams around the Oilers in the standings are winning games and the Oilers’ path to the playoffs is getting more and more difficult. Tonight is a big one as they head down to Calgary to face off against their provincial rivals. The Flames are absolutely rolling right now. They’ve been one of the best teams in the NHL since the calendar flipped to 2022 and they’re coming off an overtime victory over the Colorado Avalanche. The Oilers will need a lot to go right tonight at the Saddledome. Caroline and I broke down tonight’s matchup on the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show!
