As we crawl closer to the end of the regular season, the Oilers’ chances of making the playoffs continue to crawl higher and higher. A big reason why is because the Oilers have been able to win the games that they’re supposed to. They’ve made a habit out of beating teams below them in the standings and tonight they’ll have another chance to do exactly that as they roll into San Jose to take on the Sharks. This is a team that has lost three in a row coming into this game and have only won three games in their last ten. The Oilers on the other hand have won four in a row and have seven wins in their last ten games. They’re hot right now and they’ll need to keep that streak going tonight if they want to drop their magic number.
