Could tonight be clinch-mas?! It very well could. With a victory of any kind tonight over the Colorado Avalanche the Oilers’ spot in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs will be secured! The team has been playing their best hockey of the season as of late with eight wins in their last ten. They’re also now up to 11-1-1 on home ice since March 1st. They’re rolling right now. Everyone from Mike Smith to Connor McDavid is chipping in. The team is also getting some solid contributions from players lower in their lineup and that wasn’t the case a few months ago. Today on the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show I was joined by both Jay and Baggedmilk to get set for the game and talk about the Oilers as they look to lock up a playoff spot.
