As the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs trudge on into the second round, we have added one more fight to the list in the playoffs. Making our grand total, a WHOPPING, three fights so far. The NHL is committed to the dumbing down of passion and fighting, especially in the most animosity filled time in their season. So with that being said, we have pivoted Friday Fights to a yearly review of the fights that were; rather than the usual standard of recapping the week’s best and worst fights.
This past week you were privy to the top 20 down to 16 fights of the year. The previous week you were able to watch the 25th down to 21st best fights of the year.
Coming in at number 15:

Nov 25, 2017
Credit goes to Liambas here. He gives up height and weight to MacDermid but he went anyways. He lost. But he did go for it.
Josh Gorges vs Jordie Benn
Nov 11, 2017

12 – Josh Manson vs Cody McLeod
Dec 2, 2017
The show of duplicates continues in the Top 25. Manson with his first of two fights in this list of five. Two big time fighters going toe to toe here.
11 – Josh Manson vs Sam Bennett
Jan 6, 2018
Like, when will the Ducks learn? You can’t touch the goalie, and not expect to be beaten down. A lot of show fights, but at the end of the day, credit to Sam Bennett for standing up for his goalie.
What do you think of the ranking? One of the fights better than the others? Let me know in the comments below.
