The world is changing day by day but a few of the boys decided to make their way into the studio to record a new episode of the Real Life Podcast. This week, we’re talking about the rumoured playoff format that was circling Twitter yesterday, NHL players being permitted to return home, and personal goals to accomplish while being socially distant.
To start off this week’s episode, the guys kicked the podcast off with a discussion about the NHL playoffs and what it might look like if the league is able to resume operations. What would a 24-team playoff format look like? Would play-in winners have an advantage over the teams that get a bye through the first round? From there we looked at personal goals we’ve all set during this time of social distancing and how we plan to spend our time while sitting at home. Whether it’s vowing to read more, watching classic movies, or teaching your dog new tricks, the boys had all kinds of ideas and thoughts about how to spend some time. Obviously, this is a strange time in human history but the boys all felt that it was incredibly important to keep your mind busy in any way possible. Back to hockey, the guys pivoted the conversation to content on the website and how we can keep producing articles on the site, including a request from Baggedmilk to have readers submit any thoughts they might have for a new, community driven segment. Our main goal here is to have new articles going up every single day to make sure that everyone is entertained and engaged.
