Real Life Podcast: Reid Schaefer at the World Juniors, the World Cup, and the Edmonton Oilers

A fresh week is underway and that means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a brand new episode to help you ease back into work life. On today’s show, the guys looked at Tyler’s big interview, the World Cup Final, and a whole lot more.

To kick off today’s podcast, the crew got started with Tyler being rattled off the jump as the guys started talking over the intro even though everybody knows how much he hates it. Getting back to business, the guys spent the new few minutes talking about today’s interview with Reid Schaefer that happened on Oilersnation Everyday today and how he co-signed the nickname Ginger Beef. Changing gears, the guys spoke about the World Cup Final that happened on Saturday morning and how it was one of the greatest games any of them had seen. Seeing as none of the guys are soccer fans, it’s probably ridiculous to hear them talk about the climax of the biggest sporting event on earth. Finally, the guys wrapped up the podcast with a look at the Edmonton Oilers, starting with the new contract Stuart Skinner signed this morning that will keep him around for another three seasons. They also discussed what the hell went wrong against the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday, and how that loss was absolutely devastating on an emotional level. That conversation led to Tyler and Jay arguing about the roster and whether or not the depth on the roster is a problem.
