Baggedmilk on #theLOCKERROOM: Depth Scoring Equals Wins

Good morning, frozen Internet friends, and welcome to yet another episode of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do each week, I jumped on the Cruz FM airwaves with the folks on The Locker Room to talk about Oilers, what’s been going on around the NHL, and why we all love to argue about it.
To kick things off, we got started with a look at some of the potential new names for the Edmonton Football Club and whether or not I like any of the finalists. Seeing as the team had to stick with the ‘EE’ lettering, the options became extremely limited but I think they did a decent enough job of putting together a wide variety. Either way, some folks will hate the new name no matter what it is so we’ll see what happens. Back to the Oilers, we looked at last night’s game against the Ottawa Senators and how it was a little bit of a lucky win for the boys as neither Connor McDavid nor Leon Draisaitl was able to register a point, ending their respective 10-game point streaks in the process. It may not have been the prettiest win the Oilers will ever have, but to have the team play only so-so and still walk away with two points is a huge win. That said, everyone had better be ready for a much tougher contest against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night or we may not be as lucky.
