The Bakersfield Condors have signed two players including Edmonton Oilers 2016 fifth-round pick Graham McPhee to one-year contracts.
McPhee, 22, was never signed by the Oilers but now, he’ll get a test run in the organization with the Condors. He just finished a four-year career at Boston College where in four years, the left-winger scored 22 goals and 55 points in 138 games.
His father is long-time NHL executive George McPhee.
The Condors also signed veteran defenceman Ryan Stanton. Stanton has played 120 NHL games and 479 in the AHL since entering the professional ranks in 2010.
In the AHL, he’s scored 24 goals and 121 points while in the NHL, he’s potted four goals and 23 assists. Stanton, 31, played for the Condors between 2017 and 2019 before spending the 2019-20 season with the Ontario Reign.
