Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day will be taking Evander Kane to take over 3.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at +130.
This is a juicy one today, with Kane’s shot prop into plus-money territory. There’s an undoubted risk, considering he’s hit this in 38 percent of his games, 7 of 18, to be exact, but four of those hits have come in his last five games. That same stretch has seen him score four goals, three against the Seattle Kraken nine days ago.
Kane, however, has the highest shots per hour rate of any top-six Oiler, and he doesn’t even see time on the top power play unit.

Our second bet of the day will be taking over 6.5 goals between the Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild. These odds sit at -125.
Both of these teams are among the strongest to the over in the league this year, with the Minnesota Wild going 11-5-1 to the over, returning +5.3u, the third-best rate in the league, while the Avalanche aren’t far behind. Their 11-7 record to the over has returned +3.15u this season, the sixth most in the league.
I love this spot here for these teams to cash the over again. Both have had defensive issues putting them among the worst defensive teams in the league, in terms of goals against per hour, and have the offensive firepower to put the puck in the net.
Record: 32-31 (+.92u, 1.43 ROI%)
Last 30: 18-20 (-1.22u, -3.37 ROI%)
Last 7: 3-4 (-.4u, -5.71 ROI%)
Last 30: 18-20 (-1.22u, -3.37 ROI%)
Last 7: 3-4 (-.4u, -5.71 ROI%)
