Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day will be taking Warren Foegele to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at +100.
I like this spot for Warren Foegele tonight, who will play on the Oilers’ top line alongside Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman. His shot volume this season of 2.34 shots on goal per game is the highest of his entire year, and in a contract year, he’s on pace for career highs in all goals, assists, points and shots on goal.
While he’s cashed this prop in just 18 of 53 games this year (34 percent of games), he had four shots on goal against the Wild when these two teams met in early December, and he was on the Oilers’ third line for that game. Foegele seems to be at his best when he’s playing more and up the lineup, evident in the fact he’s cashed this prop in six of 11 games this season (54 percent) when he’s played 15 minutes or more.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Tage Thompson to take over 3.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -134.
As of late, Thompson has been on fire, cashing this prop in four of his last five games, and in 16 of his last 25 games (64 percent of game). He’s dominated the Blue Jackets in his career with 11 goals, 16 points and 41 shots on goal in 10 games, cashing this prop in six of them.
