Earlier this week, a very scary situation occurred involving Edmonton Oilers forward, Colby Cave, as he had to be placed in a medically induced coma as a result of a brain bleed. The 25-year-old required emergency surgery to remove a colloid cyst that was causing pressure on his brain, and this morning, his family provided a quick update on his status.
From all of our here at Oilersnation, we wish Colby Cave a speedy recovery and will keep him in our thoughts and prayers until he makes it through this. I can’t imagine what these last few days must have been like for the Cave family and friends, and I was very happy to see that the doctors involved were able to respond so quickly and with such precision. Here’s hoping that we’ll soon get another update to tell us that he is awake and doing well. Until then, we’re all thinking of you, Colby. Get well soon.
