And that was the case on Friday night after a post on social media went viral of Oilers defenceman <a href="https://oilersnation.com/2025/05/21/edmonton-oilers-stan-bowman-impressed-jake-walman-john-klingberg/">Jake Walman</a> buying hockey cards for a couple of kids at a local Walmart.</p>

<p>When fans online noticed this story surfaced, they shared their appreciation for the Oilers&#8217; defenceman and how he has been a great addition on and off the ice.</p>
