The Hyman Foundation is hosting the fourth annual Zach Hyman Celebrity Classic golf tournament at Eagles Nest Golf Club in the North York region of Toronto on Monday.

Multiple members of the Edmonton Oilers and other players from around the hockey world are participating in the charity event, which is raising money in support of the SickKids Foundation and the UJA Federation.

There are some good players, pretty average golfers, but good hockey players, plus a bunch of guys from other teams. It&#8217;s going to be a really fun event.
The main benefactor is SickKids and also UJA Toronto and UJA Edmonton. SickKids is near and dear to my heart. My first-born son, Theo, went to SickKids and he wears hearing aids, so I have a special place for SickKids and I&#8217;ve been supporting them for a long time.&#8221;</blockquote>

Among the members of the Oilers who are attending Hyman&#8217;s golf classic was Connor McDavid, who spoke about how he&#8217;s feeling heading into next season and why he&#8217;s excited to be reuniting with Erie Otters teammate Connor Brown.
<blockquote>&#8220;I&#8217;m really excited about it. I think he&#8217;s a great addition to our group,&#8221; McDavid said. &#8220;He fits in perfectly, in the room and on the ice. He&#8217;s a really smart player and he&#8217;s really competitive. I remember being a 15-year-old kid in the OHL and he was trying to devleop his game and he was just so competitive.&#8221;</blockquote>
Leon Draisaitl also attended the event for the first time and talked about how he&#8217;s feeling a few months following Edmonton&#8217;s loss to the Vegas Golden Knights in the playoffs.
<blockquote>&#8220;[The bitter feeling] is still there. It never really leaves until you&#8217;ve done it,&#8221; Draisaitl said. &#8220;But you have to move forward. I had my time with and sat with it and now it&#8217;s time to prepare for next season and do it better when we get to that point.
&#8220;They&#8217;re a good team. They&#8217;re deep. Their goalie played extremely well in the playoffs which is big. But I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s anything that we can&#8217;t handle as a group. There&#8217;s learning that we need to do in the years coming up.&#8221;</blockquote>
