The calendar hits March 1 and the Oilers prospects around the world are heading into playoff pushes.
On the flip side of that, the Condors are mired in one of the worst stretches for the franchise ever. One win in ten games in the month of February, to go along with just six wins in their last twenty.
The trade deadline saw the “graduation” of two of the players on this list, Sam Gagner is off to the motor city, and Joel Persson is headed to sunny Anahiem, California.
Especially going to miss Sam Gagner. In return for Persson, the Oilers got a 7th round pick in 2021 (conditional on the fact that Persson plays 25 games with the Ducks next year) and ECHL goalie Angus Redmond in the final year of his ELC.
In the QMJHL Olivier Rodrigue and his Moncton Wildcats team are cruising to a playoff berth (currently ranked 3rd in the CHL), as well as Raphael Lavoie and his Chicoutimi Sagueneens (ranked 7th in the country).
