The Edmonton Oilers have added more depth to their roster.
The team has reportedly signed forward Alan Quine to a one-year contract worth $750k.
Depth signing for Edmonton. Last two seasons in Flames organization.
22 games in NHL with 4-2-6
79 games in AHL scoring 33-65-98. https://t.co/sA1fmzUwKz

Quine has spent the past five seasons as an AHL-NHL call-up type. He scored 22 points over 82 games with the Islanders and six points in 22 games with the Flames.
This is a cheap, no-risk depth addition for the Oilers. Quine will likely come into training camp and compete with Gaetan Haas and Jujhar Khaira for reps as the team’s fourth centre. If he doesn’t make the team, Quine can be sent to the AHL without counting against the Oilers’ cap at all.
Between signing Kyle Turris to a nice, cheap deal and adding a solid AHL depth guy in Quine, Edmonton has added quite a bit of centre depth to their roster today.
