Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the Day!
The Bets of the Day are brought to you by NHL odds site Betway!
Our first bet of the day will be taking Tyler Seguin to o2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -110.
Bumped up to the Dallas Stars’ top line alongside Jason Robertson and Joe Pavelski, I like this spot a lot for Seguin tonight. He and his linemates have one of the best matchups on the entire slate, and Seguin has hit this prop in three of his last five games against the Panthers.
Taking on a Florida Panthers club that will be without the likes of Brandon Montour and Aaron Ekbald to start the year should allow for Seguin, and other opposing offensive players, to get some better looks.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Dougie Hamilton to o2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -138.
In terms of defencemen, there are few in the NHL who fired the puck as much as Dougie Hamilton. His 9.24 shots per hour last season in all situations ranked second amongst defenceman with over 500 minutes played, and he cashed this prop in 50 of 82 games last year hitting at a 61 percent clip. On top of that, he’s cashed it in 18 of 32 games against Detroit in his career, and in three of his last six against them.
Detroit is a better team than they were last year, but this Devils team is a different animal.
Record: 3-1 (-.11u, -2.2% ROI)
